May Masters Series

At Unique FA

Following the announcement of our May Masters series this month we are delighted to welcome three friends of the academy and well respected professional 'master' coaches to Unique FA throughout the month of May, to deliver training and work with the players enrolled at our Invitation Programme based in Beckenham . 

BEN GARNER 

 Ben is one of the most successful and well respected coaches in the country. A close friend of  academy director Jamie Waller, Ben was instrumental to the success of the Crystal Palace academy over an 8 year period that produced players of the calibre of Nathaniel Clyne, Victor Moses, & Wilfried Zaha. After being promoted to First Team Coach in 2013 he was a key member of the coaching staff that helped Crystal Palace win the play-offs to achieve promotion to the PL. The following two seasons saw 11th and 10th place finishes in the PL with Ben being an integral part of the most successful period in the recent history of Crystal Palace. Most recently he was Assistant Head Coach at WBA FC where he achieved another top 10 PL finish last season. Ben has spent the majority of the last 5 seasons coaching top class international stars, premier league winners, and even a champions league winner. A UEFA Pro Licence and LMA Diploma in Management holder, Ben has worked for vastly experienced managers including Pulis, Holloway, and Warnock. We are delighted to invite Ben to work with the academy players at Unique FA

DAN SEARLE 

Danny Searle is currently in the process of completing his UEFA Pro-Licence and studied his A Licence with Jamie before they worked together at the famous West Ham United academy.

Danny is an extremely popular youth coach and has previously worked at both Southend United and Charlton Athletic before moving to a full-time position at West Ham United's academy, his childhood club. Danny worked closely with the U15-U18 age group having previously coached some of the younger age groups at the club. Danny has a string of coaching qualifications and a huge coaching presence with great attention to detail. Danny's bubbly personality and knowledge of the game make him an outstanding coach and he is currently working in other areas of the industry in addition to coaching, where he has interviewed a number of high profile professional players. 

CHARLIE TURNBULL

Charlie is another UEFA A Licence coach who worked at Unique FA for several seasons before his full-time position at Category 1 club Fulham FC meant his commitments changed. We are delighted to welcome Charlie back in for our May Masters series to work with the invitation players in Beckenham. Charlie was a schoolboy player at Chelsea and after graduating from Loughborough University Charlie worked closely with Kieran McKenna (now Manchester Utd U18s Head Coach) assisting the Tottenham Hotspurs U18s team. Charlie's calm and considerate coaching style and knowledge and detail support his growing reputation as an excellent youth coach.
